This person must be located in the Chicago area.

This is a hybrid position with up to 3-days a week on-site in the West Loop. 

Responsibilties 

• Manages client relationship, leading teams, providing consultative oversight, managing business value analysis, and acting as a trusted advisor
• Discovers client business challenges and provides vision for solution approach
• Manages risk, stakeholders, and scope 
• Understanding of Daugherty capabilities and identifies opportunities to add value within clients(s)
• Supports Daugherty's delivery excellence approach
• Understand and practice Agile methodologies
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and remove impediments to the Agile's team's progress 
• Develop and analyze reports and artifacts to include velocity charts, burn down charts, cumulative flow diagrams, and sprint retrospectives for improvement opportunities. 
• Comply with implementation of baseline contractual plans and tools for configuration management, systems development methodologies, quality assurance, testing and technical writing. 
• Coach Agile team in self-organization and cross-functionality.
• Understand Agile values and principals. 
• Mentor or coach other Scrum Masters/Agile Team Facilitators. 
• Drive change that increase the productivity of the Agile team and help those outside the team understand which of their interactions with the team are helpful and which are not. 
• Coach development teams in organizational environments in which Agile is not yet fully adopted and understood. 
• Communicate effectively throughout client organization to ensure full alignment. 
• Support the continuous improvement of Agile processes. 
• Coach the Agile team in self-organization and cross-functionality. 
• Remove impediments to the Agile's team progress.  

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in the Consulting Industry 
• 5+ years experience serving as a Scrum Master/Agile Team Facilitator
• Deep understanding of multiple software frameworks and best practices 
• Investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication throughout organization to ensure full alignment 
• Experience using Jira/Confluence
• Experience using an Agile development framework including task estimation, test automation, deployment automation, and continuous integration to improve overall execution speed and product quality
• Knowledge of Agile techniques such as continuous integration, ATDD, TDD, continuous testing, and paired programming
• Experience working with Agile and/or continuous delivery approaches and helping a team understand how to apply theories and implement practices to improve the value being delivered
• Experience in Agile adoption and transformation efforts
