Overview

Daugherty Business Solutions is looking for Site Reliability Engineers with a broad range of experience who can adapt to new client environments and learn new technologies quickly. We are looking for SRE’s, but also consultants with deep expertise in specific modern technologies. We always want people to apply what they know, but if you don’t know a particular technology of interest, we provide vast opportunities to learn new capabilities.

We support local and remote working models to support clients across all of our markets. Our virtual Enterprise Dev Center provides for unparalleled opportunities to collaborate with your colleagues on our clients’ most challenging technology-enabled business problems.

Responsibilities

• Implement monitoring, alerting, and service dashboards
• Define, create and monitor Service Level Objectives, Service Level Indicators, and Error Budgets
• Measure and monitor customer experience and KPIs
• Monitor, troubleshoot, solve, and escalate product incidents

Qualifications

• Kubernetes expert
• Proficient in Java, Database SQL and DevOps principles
• Participate in incident & problem management process for resolution
• Design and code software solutions that help automate manual processes
• Identify gaps and weaknesses in existing applications and design and implement remediation of these gaps
• Work to improve the stability of applications in the production environment
• Understand and contribute to the software delivery lifecycle
• Ensure changes to the applications follow a disciplined change management processes including all documentation, reviews, and approval steps using standard tool sets for automated testing and deployment
• Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Proficient knowledge of one or more infrastructure components such as orchestration tools, containerization, cloud services, compute and storage systems
• Capable of managing service-level changes to a system or service
• Hands-on experience with cloud deployment, monitoring, and ops analysis tools such as Kubernetes, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Grafana, Kibana, Splunk, DynaTrace
• Experience with JMeter and cloud hosted applications is a plus
